Apps that add money back into your pocket

It’s no joke that freshly starting out in homesteading can seem expensive. Here are a few apps and websites that we use to save money to be able to afford some small projects at our farm or just have extra spending money in our budget.

  • https://ibotta.onelink.me/iUfE/1005cd3f?friend_code=gproveg – Ibotta is great! I love using it. It’s a rebate app, so your initial purchase at the store won’t seem as cheap, but once you submit your receipt and receive your money; you can then transfer that money to your Paypal account once you reached the $20 threshold. You can use Ibotta to even get money back when using the Walmart pick up feature or shopping online.
  • https://upside.app.link/6BQM8 – Upside is an app to get money back on gas purchases. In some areas you can even get money back at certain stores and restaurants. The Upside app is great because most of us use gas in our vehicles and if you have a tractor then there’s some extra savings.
  • https://fetchrewards.onelink.me/vvv3/referraltext?code=9DQEPN – Fetch Rewards is another rebate app. This app doesn’t allow you to turn your points into cash, but you can submit your points for gift cards. Home Depot or Lowes would be a great place to redeem gift cards for.
  • joinhoney.com/ref/w4my0yh – Honey is a web browser extension. You can now add it to your phone for on the go shopping. Honey searches the web for discounts and every purchase you earn points. You can redeem those points for gift cards or turn it into cash and deposit it into your Paypal account.
  • http://thrv.me/RpXNY2 – This isn’t a rebate app but online grocery shopping. Thrive Market is always running awesome sales on products we all typically buy. There is a yearly membership, but in my honest opinion I think it is highly worth it. You can auto ship all the things you use monthly and save precious time from having to go to the store.
  • https://www.coupons.com/ – You can download the Coupons app and scan your receipt, you get your money immediately in your Paypal account. So no more clipping coupons and giving them to the cashier.
  • Walmart grocery pick up. Or your favorite store that offers this amazing service. I save so much money doing this by not buying extra things that I don’t need, whereas if I went shopping in the store then I would spend more that what I originally intended.
